Patients Contributing to Their Doctors' Notes: Insights from Expert Interviews

The November 14, 2017 issue of the Annals of Internal Medicine includes an article titled, "Patients Contributing to Their Doctors' Notes: Insights from Expert Interviews." The interviews, conducted with health care experts, provided input to design pilot interventions of OurNotes with patients at four sites across the country.

Introducing New IPFCC Staff — Pam Dardess and Cara Coleman

Pam joins IPFCC as Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Operations and will assist with IPFCC’s strategic planning and also be involved in consultation and training for other organizations. Prior to coming to IPFCC, Pam was a principal researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) where her work focused on stakeholder engagement.
At IPFCC, Cara serves as the Patient and Family Partnerships Specialist for IPFCC’s PCORI-funded “Strengthening Diversity in Research Partnerships: Knowledge to Action” project. Cara also works as a Family Leader with other organizations, bringing her experience as the parent of Justice Hope, her daughter who had special healthcare needs. Cara headshot
