WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
We urge all health care systems, from large hospitals to small provider practices, to send an interdisciplinary team of participants that includes administrative leaders, physicians, nurses and other clinical staff, as well as patient and family leaders whose primary association with the team is as consumers of health services. This team also may include health care design professionals and other consultants working within the field.
SEMINAR RESOURCES:
All participants receive an array of Moving Forward with Patient- and Family-Centered Care resources. These user-friendly, practical materials on patient- and family-centered care can be utilized to facilitate the process of change in hospitals, long-term care facilities, ambulatory care clinics, and other health care entities within health care systems. The guidance resources allow seminar attendees to immediately begin advancing and implementing the practice of patient- and family-centered care immediately upon return from the event.
